Stephen Riley Cox, 79, of Carmel, passed away Thursday, May 6th, 2010.Steve was born in Hortonville, IN on February 22, 1931, the son of the late Carl J and Grace R. (Beals) Cox.He served in the U.S. Air Force, Carmel Volunteer Fire Dept and was involved in various lay ministries. He was a member of Carmel Jaycees/Lions Club, Tecumseh Lodge and was president of Western Electric Sportsman Club.His career was in data processing.He is survived by his wife Melba Ruth (Randall) Cox and children Jan Cox Norlin (Wayne), Eric Cox (Debbie) and Kim Cox, 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation Monday 10am – Noon with funeral services following at Westfield Friends Church. 324 S. Union St. Westfield. Burial following services at Summit Lawn Cemetery Westfield, IN.
